# Which cordless yard-tool batteries work across platforms

> Which battery platforms share packs - DeWalt FLEXVOLT in 20V MAX tools, Ryobi 40V packs in two 80V zero-turns - and which way each fit works. Every link cites its source.

A battery fits its own platform's tools and almost nothing else. These links are the exceptions PowerToolGrid can source; the note on each says which direction works.
